What you can book
NexDrive is a ride-booking service. You book a vehicle in the app, a nearby driver accepts, and you pay for that trip. There are three kinds of booking:
- Local ride — a point-to-point trip within the city, charged by distance and time.
- Rental — a car and driver kept for a fixed block of hours and kilometres, with a published rate for anything beyond the package.
- Outstation — a one-way or round trip to another city, charged per kilometre with a driver allowance for overnight journeys.
How a fare is worked out
Every local fare is base fare + distance + time, and never less than the minimum fare for that vehicle. The app shows you the estimated fare before you confirm, and the final fare on completion, with the breakdown itemised. Tolls, parking and permit charges, where they apply, are added at actual cost.
Our fares are being published. Please check the app for current pricing in your city.
How you pay
At the end of a trip the app shows the final fare and you choose how to pay:
- Cash — hand the fare to the driver.
- Wallet — the fare is taken from your NexDrive wallet balance.
- Wallet and cash together — your balance covers part of the fare and you pay the rest in cash.
You add money to your wallet in the app through UPI. Nothing is charged to you until you book a trip or top up your wallet yourself.
